The Cuddelink L-Series wireless camera system provides an exceptional solution for those engaged in wildlife observation, agricultural monitoring, and outdoor industrial surveillance. This innovative system operates on a private wireless network, allowing for the connection of up to 23 cameras that can relay images back to a central home camera.
This central unit not only consolidates the captured images for easy access but also acts as a safeguard against potential theft, ensuring that all photos are securely stored in one location. Users benefit from the convenience of reviewing and managing images from multiple cameras without the need to physically access each unit, streamlining the monitoring process significantly. With a wireless transmission range that can extend up to 2 kilometers or more in optimal conditions, the Cuddelink L-Series is designed to adapt to various terrains and camera placements. Users can further enhance this range by utilising high-gain antennas, which provide additional flexibility in deployment.
Each camera is equipped with a built-in repeater function, enabling a daisy-chaining capability that allows for the cameras to jump between each other for even greater transmission distances. This feature is particularly advantageous for expansive monitoring areas, ensuring that users can maintain a reliable connection across a wide range of environments. The user-friendly interface of the CuddeLink L-Series cameras is complemented by advanced technology, including a third-generation motion sensor that offers seven sensitivity levels and an Auto Camera Delay feature. This ensures that the cameras are responsive to movement while minimising unnecessary captures. Additionally, the system is compatible with a comprehensive array of Cuddeback external power options and accessories, enhancing its versatility.
Note: This system operates on the free wireless radio band rather than relying on cellphone service, which eliminates any additional costs associated with connectivity. If you prefer to use rechargeable NiCd batteries you will require one of our External Battery Bank options.

Cuddelink is Not Wi-Fi, not cellular, CuddeLink is a private wireless network where up to 23 cameras send their images to a central home device or storage unit.
Remote refers to cameras that transmit images to the HOME. Repeater refers to a device that acts as a relay station on a CuddeLink network. The REPEATER does not take pictures, it only transmits images from one node to the next node. Node is a general name for any home, remote or repeater on the network.
When running a camera in remote mode, images can be sent to the home camera at user definded intervals depending on the selected menu option.
You can use Cuddelink cameras without a cell plan just by linking them together. Each camera sends the photos to the home camera. As long as the cameras are close enough and the signal is strong enough between cameras. It is not dependent on cell coverage.
Advanced technology and features for leading edge performance. CuddeLink built in. Functions as Home, Remote, or Repeater.
Camera-to-camera range is typically 500 metres in a forest and increases as terrain opens. To further increase range CuddeLink cameras daisy-chain from camera to camera to transmit images 3 kilometres or more. With CuddeLink you can collect images on a single SD card or have them delivered to you via a 4G LTE.
No because each camera operates on a radio network so there are no costs involved.
It is already possible to run the solar to charge an external dual battery bank consisting of rechargeable D batteries, which is connected directly to the camera as a power source. We do not recommend the use of rechargeable batteries within the camera. The battery voltage is too low to properly operate the camera.
Every CuddeLink cameras must have an SD card installed. Any size card from 16B to 256GB can be used in the LL-Series cameras. We recommend you use name brand quality SD cards.
No app is required to run your cuddelink system as the 4G Cell Home is not available in Australia at the moment.
If you have upgraded to the new GEN3 firmware you will notice that the menu options have changed. You can change this back to the FULL Menu by turning off the camera and then hold down the More button down until you see the menu option QUICK Menu or FULL Menu, press the up arrow button to confirm your selection.
